TULIP POPLAR - EYESHADOW

Color Description: A pale warm green base with a strong gold shift.

Tulip Poplars are tall hardwood trees that actually related to Magnolias. In the Spring, their branches blossom with vibrant tulip-shaped flowers, which produce large amounts of nectar as an early food for bees. The heavy fragrance of their blossoms overwhelms the spring air, and after storms, the ground is scattered with colorful petals.

About the Collection: From the "Appalachian Wonder" collection (Spring 2022), a growing catalog of shades and products inspired by my daily life in the Southeastern Appalachians of Upstate SC. All flora & fauna photographs taken by me, unless otherwise specified.

APPLICATION TIP: These colors are all swatched over a light layer of NYX cream eyeshadow base in skintone. A base is necessary to bring the highlight/duochrome effects portrayed in the swatch photos. If you wear them without base, you won't see as strong of a color shift.
