Aromaleigh Illuminata Eye Perfecting Powder is a delicate pale pink powder inspired by a very popular and effective loose powder "camoflage" product offered by one of the largest "traditional" (i.e. non-mineral based) cosmetic brands, described as "light-diffusing powder concealer for under eyes & face". We loved the product... but not the ingredients!
So we set out to formulate our own mineral version of this product that is equally effective but with greatly simplified ingredients (and a much sweeter price- 7 grams for $16, versus 3.2 grams for $28!). Our version also contains Illuminata Luxe's advanced diamond copolymer photoluminescent soft-focus ingredient..
Aromaleigh Illuminata Eye Perfecting Powder is a translucent, pale pink, sheer loose mineral cosmetic powder, that contains reflective minerals and a revolutionary light-diffusing diamond copolymer to perfect, refine, brighten and conceal around the eye area. It can also be used on the entire face, if you wish!
This advanced diamond copolymer ingredient is a spherical powder with an entrapped photoluminescent diamond core. While it is not "mineral" or "natural" in nature, it adds great benefit to Illuminata Eye's ability to impart a soft-focus effect and minimize the appearance of fine lines.
Some companies describe this ingredient as "Diamond Powder", but this is misleading, as there is no loose diamond particles in the formula. The diamond is actually encased within a smooth, spherical particle which is composed of a material known as "PSQ" or, as the official INCI designation for diamond copolymer appears on the product ingredient list, "Benzimidazole Diamond Amidoethyl Urea Carbamoyl Propyl Polymethylsilsesquioxane". (You may see this ingredient also listed as "Polymethylsilsesquioxane/Benzimidazole Diamond Copolymer". This is an outdated designation for this ingredient, which is how the ingredient was originally listed by the manufacturer prior to receiving an official INCI designation.) What is "INCI", you ask? It stands for "International Nomenclature Cosmetic Ingredient". Basically, a requirement for the listing of ingredients in a cosmetic formulation in order to standardize.
Ingredients: Sericite (CI 77019), Mica (CI 77019), Boron Nitride, Magnesium Myristate, Diamond Copolymer (Benzimidazole Diamond Amidoethyl Urea Carbamoyl Propyl Polymethylsilsesquioxane), Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499)
Made in the USA by Aromaleigh Inc.
Sizes available:
The regular jar size ( aka "20 gram" jar) holds approximately 7 grams net weight
This jar measures 2" in diameter and is .875" high
Sample Baggie 1/2 teaspoon in a 2x2 inch zip baggie
This is enough product for many samplings
